The Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) states that an employer's legal duty is to provide a safe working environment for employees.
The regulation requires an employer ensures the organisation implements Health and Safety measures to comply with legal requirements. This could be done via an internal employee or an external consultant, such as Critical Path but does state this must be done by a “competent person”.
Critical Path's Health and Safety experts help you plan, organise, control, and monitor your workplace's health and safety risks and take the stress out of your hands.
Our consultants follow the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle to help you establish and continually manage an effective health and safety management system bespoke to your organisation.
